NB Copy Engine · MT5 copy trading EA
NB Copy Engine (NB跟单引擎) is the MT5 copy trading EA from Niubang (niubang.ai): a control panel on a MetaTrader 5 chart for listing master accounts, managing several copy accounts, monitoring their status and switching the signal source. The actual copying is executed in the Niubang cloud; the EA itself places no orders locally.
Cross-platform · Millisecond-level copy trading EA
Cross-platform here means cross-broker: the master and copy accounts can be MT5 accounts at different brokers. Copying only works between MT5 accounts; MT4 is not supported.

What NB Copy Engine does
List a master account
Use the read-only (investor) password to list this or another MT5 account as a signal source, public or private. Copying opens only after the first sync succeeds.
Manage several copy accounts
Every copy account you own sits in one list with its status, positions and floating P/L. Pause, resume, catch up, close positions or change lots.
Read the status at a glance
Green means copying or ready; gold means a connection check or provider approval is in progress; red needs attention, such as a failed connection or a symbol that cannot be executed; grey means paused.
Switch the signal source in one step
All your copy accounts switch together: copied positions from the old source are closed first, then only new trades from the new strategy are copied.
Strategy Square
Browse public strategies in the panel, sorted by score, return, stability, longevity or newest, using the same rules as the website rankings. Sorting is not investment advice.
In sync with the website
The panel and My copy trading on the website read the same data, so a change on one side shows on the other within about 10 seconds.
How copying works
- Runs in the cloud: Copying is executed in the Niubang cloud. The EA itself places no orders and needs no DLL; it only handles setup and monitoring. Copying you have started keeps running after you close MT5 or your computer.
- Triggering and reconciliation: As soon as the master account's positions change, the cloud re-reads the master's actual positions, compares them with the copies and places orders. Scheduled reconciliation also checks that copied positions still match the master.
- Speed: Copying is triggered the moment the master trade fills, with millisecond-level order placement in the cloud. Actual execution speed depends on broker servers, the network and liquidity.
- What is copied: Opening, closing, partial closing and stop-loss or take-profit changes. Pending orders themselves are not copied; a master pending order is copied once it fills and becomes a position.
- How orders are placed: Copy accounts use market orders, so fill prices can differ from the master. Copied orders carry a fixed tag, and pause or close actions only touch copied orders, never trades you opened yourself.
- Lot size: Copy lots = master lots × multiplier (0.01 to 100), rounded to 0.01 lot. A new position below the broker's minimum lot is placed at the minimum lot. A new multiplier applies only to later signals.
- Across brokers: Master and copy accounts can be at different brokers. Symbols are matched in three ways, in order: an exact name match; aliases Niubang configures for the two broker servers; names compared without suffixes (so XAUUSD.m or XAUUSD-ECN can match XAUUSD). If more than one candidate remains after removing suffixes, nothing is guessed. Differently named symbols such as GOLD and XAUUSD need an alias first. A symbol pre-check runs when copying starts, and a symbol that cannot be matched shows as “品种不可执行” (symbol cannot be executed) instead of being forced through.
- Account type: Copying mirrors individual positions. Netting accounts get no special handling, so check your account type first.
Requirements and installation
Requirements
- The MT5 desktop terminal (the MT5 mobile apps cannot run EAs).
- A Niubang account; verify your email before you start copying.
- No DLL and no broker back-office (Manager) access required.
Five steps to install
- Download NB跟单引擎.ex5. In MT5 choose “File → Open Data Folder”, put it into MQL5 → Experts, then right-click “Expert Advisors” in the Navigator and choose “Refresh”.
- Choose “Tools → Options → Expert Advisors”, tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL” and add https://www.niubang.ai (the www is required).
- Drag “NB跟单引擎” from the Navigator onto any chart and click OK.
- Log in with your Niubang account in the panel, or sign up there (a 6-digit code is sent to your email). If you registered with a phone number, create a control token on the website and enter it in the EA input InpControllerToken.
- To be a signal source, list a master account with its read-only password; to copy, add a copy account with its trading password. The cloud checks the connection in about a minute; “跟单中” (Copying) or “已就绪” (Ready) means copying has started.

Security: what is stored and what is not
- In transit: The panel talks to the cloud only over an encrypted connection to https://www.niubang.ai. The login token travels in a request header, and passwords never appear in a URL.
- The panel keeps no MT passwords: The input box is cleared as soon as you submit, and also after 180 seconds of inactivity. MT5 input boxes have no password mode, so characters are visible while you type; enter passwords where no one is watching.
- Encrypted in the cloud: The cloud needs the passwords to connect to your broker and copy trades, so read-only and trading passwords are sent to the cloud and stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. They are decrypted only in the memory of the execution process and are never written to logs.
- Login token on your computer: When the panel remembers your login, the token is stored encrypted in the terminal's local data folder.
- Funds: The read-only password can only view and cannot trade; the trading password can trade but, by MetaTrader's design, cannot deposit or withdraw. Your funds always stay in your own brokerage account.
FAQ
Does NB Copy Engine support MT4?
No. Copying only happens between MT5 accounts: both the master and the copy account must be MT5, and the EA exists only as an MT5 file (.ex5). Cross-platform means cross-broker.
Does copying continue after I close MT5 or my computer?
Yes. Copying is executed in the Niubang cloud, so your local terminal does not need to stay online; the panel is only for setup and monitoring.
Does the EA place orders in my MT5?
No. The EA itself places no orders and needs no DLL; every copied order is sent by the cloud through its broker connection.
How fast is copying?
Copying is triggered the moment the master trade fills, with millisecond-level order placement in the cloud. Actual execution speed depends on broker servers, the network and liquidity.
Can the master and copy accounts be at different brokers?
Yes. Symbols are matched by exact name, then configured aliases, then names without suffixes; differently named symbols such as GOLD and XAUUSD need an alias first. A symbol that cannot be matched shows “品种不可执行” (symbol cannot be executed) when copying starts, instead of being forced through.
Which password do I enter for listing and for copying?
Use the read-only (investor) password to list a master account and the trading password to add a copy account. A copy account submitted with a read-only password is rejected, because that password cannot place orders.
Can Niubang use my passwords to deposit or withdraw?
No. By MetaTrader's design the read-only password can only view and the trading password can only trade; neither can deposit or withdraw. Passwords sent to the cloud are stored encrypted and used only to connect to your broker for copying.
Do pause and stop close positions? Are my manual trades affected?
They close the copied positions in that account; trades you opened yourself are not affected. After a pause, resuming copies only new signals and does not reopen old positions; after a stop, add the account again to copy again.
